Process
- Repair cracks or other damage to the floor
- Diamond grind to prepare the floor
- A dust collection system is attached to reduce airborne concrete dust
- Thoroughly vacuum to remove remaining concrete dust
- Apply tinted base coat (epoxy, polyurea, or polyaspartic depending on the details of the project)
- Full broadcast of ¼” vinyl flakes
- Scrape flakes to control texture
- Apply polyaspartic top/clear coat (and optional second top/clear coat)
- Return to service in 24 hours typically, depending on the weather
- Typically installed in just 1-2 days
